DA' Music

One of the most important components of a show, believe it or not, is the soundtrack. Although when you think of TV the first thing that usually comes to mind are the moving images it is really the soundtrack that brings everything together and makes it all relate. We hope you enjoy the soundtracks related to the show and visit and support the careers of our artists. We are incredibly fortunate to work with some very talented people.

KOiL

has worked with some of the top producers in the biz like Nick Blagona (The Tea Party, David Bowie, The Police, Chicago, Rush, The Bee Gees, Tina Turner) and Arnold Lanni (Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, A Simple Plan, Kings X) "Working with people like Arnold and Nick I learned so much. I watched every move of the knobs every twist of the wrist, every mic that was used. I listened to opinions on how to structure songs and how things should sound…"

Some of KOiL's work can be heard in Hollywood blockbusters & trailers such as Blade 2 (New Line Cinema), The Time Machine (Dreamworks), Jackie Chan's The Accidental Spy (Golden Harvest), ABC's Alias and commercials for Out for Justice with Steven Segal and The Terminator with Arnold Schwarzenegger on TNT.

"I wear whatever hat is needed when it's needed. You know, I lay some guitars, and drums, then I'm a singer. Then I get down on the floor and solder a bad connection to the word clock." I'm the producer, the engineer and can turn around and be the artist or the coffee boy. I love what I do and being in a position to be paid well to do what I love, well that's a bonus.

Rob Kosinski

THANKS ROB

We were very lucky to have had  Rob involved with us. He has since moved on and is now playing out with his band BLAST.  We wish him all the luck in the world and hope that you check out his music and support his career.

He's been involved in the music scene for many years and has honed his skills to a fine art. Listening to our soundtracks it sounds like we have several band members and a large recording studio. That is Rob plugging away with his instruments at his computer much the same way we edit the show.

Check out Rob's band BLAST. They play great contemporary music blended with a nice mix of familiar tunes. http://www.blastedwebsite.com/

Mey Vidal

Mey was one of the original cast members but primarily she is the voice of Next Level TV.  It is her sounding real sexy in the intro to the show.  The "Can't stop me now" theme was penned by her and Rob.  S

he laid down the basics for Rob to work with and he crafted it into what  you hear now.

Mey has also moved on, literally!  Since the show started she has moved South to Miami to be near where the heart of her music is.

Being from Cuba and having such strong Latino influences in her music it only makes sense to be there.

We wish her all the luck in the world also.
